Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Hospital Indemnity Insurance Plans are available to help cover out-of-pocket expenses that you may face with your main insurance coverage. Many of these plans are designed to dovetail with the co-pay structure of many Medicare Advantage Plans. Some of these plans also offer additional benefits such as dental and vision coverage or skilled nursing care coverage. A few select plans are available without any medical qualification requirements (available when you are approaching age 65) but otherwise do require medical underwriting.
How do these plans help? Basically, you will be paid directly whenever you file a qualifying claim. You can use the funds for whatever purpose you choose.
